I leave in just over 2 weeks...ekk!

My departure date is rapidly approaching and it seems I still have a LOT to do!  Trying to pack one bag for nearly four months of travel seems like a daunting task...especially for someone who hauls about 3 bags worth of 'stuff' everywhere she goes!  Gathering clothing, shoes, malaria pills, reading material and other travel essentials, as well as carefully selecting what sock yarn to take with me is only making me more and more excited to go! 

I intend to use this blog as a means for updating my family and friends, with both post and pictures, about my adventures abroad.
